Easy Frame Tutorial

For this tutorial you will need:
PSP 7 ~ download a trial version.
Eye Candy 3 ~ download a full version here.

Simple Filters ~ download here.
Ulead ArtTexture ~ download here.
A graphic of your choice or you may use the one I am using,
right-click and save the Moonboat graphic from below.

Open your graphic in PSP.

Set your background color to something that compliments your graphic.

Double Click on your selection tool icon and you will get a pop-up like these:

Set the numbers for Left and Top at 15.  Take the number for the width - which is the first number at the top - and minus by 30 and that is the number you put in for Right.  Take the number for the height - which is the second number at the top - and minus by 30 and that is the number you put in for Bottom.  Click ok.

You should now have marching ants 15 pix in from the edge all the way around.

Selections > Invert.

Effects > Plug-in Filters > Eye Candy 3 > Weave > these settings:
Ribbon width 7
Gap Width 2
Fill gaps checked - choose a color that goes with your graphic.
Shadow depth 40
Thread detail 38
Thread length 33
Smear threads checked

Image > Flip.

Effects > Plug-in Filters > Simple > 4 Way Average.

Selections > Invert.

Selections > Float.

Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout > these settings:
Vertical & Horizontal 3
Opacity 70
Blur 26.2
Color Black

Repeat the Cutout but change the Vertical & Horizontal to -3.

Selections > Select none.
